The City of Fishers just announced the 4th Annual Blues Festival presented by J & J Winery will return to the Nickle Plate District on Friday, September 2 and Saturday, September 3. The two-day event includes performance by 10 local acts, including honoree and local legend, Gene Deer.
Featured acts include:
- Doug Henthorn,
- Hurricane Ruth,
- Mike Milligan and Steam Shovel,
- Bullet Proof Sound, and
- Stormcellar to name a few.
The free festival beings at 7 p.m. on Friday and 6 p.m. on Saturday, and ends at 11 p.m. on both nights. Local food truck Neighborhood Pizza will be onsite, and presenting sponsor J & J Winery will have wine available for purchase during the event. Guests are encouraged to bring lawn chairs, blankets and food to enjoy during the show.
