KOKOMO, Ind. (August 18, 2016) – Markland Mall, Kokomo’s family friendly shopping venue, will host a job fair on Saturday, August 27 from noon – 4 p.m. between Center Court and Sears. The employment event will match job seekers with area businesses seeking to fill full, part-time and seasonal positions.
“As Kokomo’s family friendly shopping venue and an economic catalyst in the city, Markland Mall is committed to the success of its retailers and area businesses,” said John Campbell, general manager at Markland Mall. “We understand the importance of having a qualified workforce and being an integral part of the community.”
Available positions will include full, part-time and seasonal opportunities at 15 local retailers, including Best Buy Mobile, Aramark, Bona Vista, Chase Center, Continental Steel Corp., Dukes Memorial Hospital, H & R Industrial, Hickory Creek at Peru, Indiana Mentor, Indiana Packers Corporation, Miami Correctional Facility, Paul-Richard GM Center, Pro Resources Staffing Services and United States Air Force. In addition, Work One Kokomo will be providing career advice, reviewing resumes and assisting with interviews.
Companies will be collecting necessary forms and conducting on-the-spot interviews. Markland Mall recommends that applicants arrive early to secure the best positions, bring identification and dress to impress.
