
Pendleton, IN—On Thursday, June 23rd at 7:30 p.m. the Anderson Symphony Orchestra presents their single outdoor concert A Little Night Jazz Music with MG5 at the home of Jay and Nancy Ricker (Ricker’s Oil) in Pendleton. (Rain date Friday, June 26th).
Kick back and jam with the rockin’ blues and swingin’ jazz of MG5. ASO trombonist Rich Dole and his friends at MG5 present the history of jazz and blues under the stars this summer. MG5 (aka The Dole Becks) can be heard frequently in the Indy Metro area and the Jazz Kitchen.
This will be the seventh year that the Orchestra presents this fan-favorite fundraising event. Create your own glamorous picnic with your finest accoutrements on the exquisite grounds of Jay and Nancy Ricker.
Patrons are welcome to bring their own blankets, lawn chairs, food and beverages (including alcohol) to the outdoor venue. The ASO will hold a wine pull and one lucky winner will get the ultimate picnic and wine wagon!
Tickets are priced $25 for adults and $12 for children (under 12) and can be purchased by calling (765) 644-2111 or online at www.andersonsymphony.org. A pack of 10 tickets can be purchased for $200. Tickets may also be purchased at the door.
*The Rickers are longtime supporters of the Orchestra. Nancy was a member of the board of directors for nine years and has been vital to the ASO’s success.
