Pendleton Business Association Member Meeting

In March of 1997, nearly 20 years ago, the organization which later became known as the PBA was formed.  In 2017 we will celebrate our 20th year anniversary.  As the Town of Pendleton has grown the PBA has been transitioning to an organization focused on the growing business community.  We invite you to get engaged with the PBA as we make our 20th year the year of inclusion.  We want all businesses in Pendleton to be represented by the PBA as we promote business activity in the community.

While the PBA has successfully run many events over the years, most of you are likely familiar with the current events promoted including:

  • Highway 38 Sale
  • Fall Festival
  • Christmas in Pendleton

We need your help to determine the future direction of these events and the expanded promotion of all member businesses.  We recognize that the PBA must be more than just an event oriented organization and we want all Pendleton businesses and nonprofit entities to have a presence with the PBA.  We need your input on how the PBA can add value to your business.  We have already talked with the Times-Post and are planning to partner with them to bring back the Pendleton Business Directory.  We want the monthly meetings to be an event you look forward to with information that can help you in your business.

We invite you to our first meeting of the year on our regularly scheduled 4th Wednesday of the month which will be January 25, 2017 at 5:30 pm in our new Falls Park office located at located at 460 Falls Park Drive.  If you have not had the opportunity to see the new Park office and maintenance facility, we invite you to join us and take the tour.  The parking lot was recently paved and should provide ample parking for all attendees.  The parking lot and building are handicap accessible.

You can find the Member application here if you want to bring a check with you, or feel free to come and visit at no charge.  We hope to see you on the 25th.  If you know of a business that did not receive this notice please pass it along.  We attempted to identify as many email addresses as possible but we, no doubt, missed some.  We want all businesses to have the opportunity to participate and provide their input so please pass the word.

Sincerely,

PBA Board Members
Jack Wilson, President
Julie Schnepp, Vice President
Yvonne Chastain, Secretary-Treasurer
